I do maintain mine well with regular oil changes, fuel system cleaners, etc. But any vehicle that makes it to 250k miles before having a serious issue is a success to me. You know it's going out when you have to wiggle the key a lot for the engine to start, and mine first started having issues at about 160k miles.
